OkCupid - Noncreative Creep

It's time for another round of what was the first message sent! A we've seen plenty of times before there are a lot of strange and random first messages that can't be unread. I've had my eyes scarred by plenty of messages and photos. I'll never get to take those back. Today we have a guy who sort of calls out the nonsense of the first message, but keep in mind when I say nonsense I mean the overanalyzing that takes place. Let's get to it.

OkCupid - Walking Contradiction

I'm still not sure why people list their social media such as Snapchat, Twitter, and Instagram on their dating profiles. It seems like a like a little too much sharing to me. I mean, those are platforms that you can easily find out way to much information from and in the wrong hands things could be terrible. Either way it's not my choice whether or not someone shares that. Today we have someone who has a profile that is a walking contradiction. That's using their own words to describe them, not my own. Let's get to it shall we?

Tinder - Two Felonies

I get it, really I do. Being honest is very important. I care about it and so do a lot of other people, especially when it comes to dating apps. If you tell me that you're 6'6" and when I meet you I discover you're 5'2" I'm over it and going to walk away. I don't need a liar in my life. There are little white lies and then there are full blown lies. If I could only avoid one it would be the full blown lies. Some people however don't seem to get oversharing, or at least what I consider to be oversharing. We haven't even met yet and this guy is telling us way too much information. I have to give a shoutout to Sarah who shared this and made this post possible. Having someone to talk to about the dating apps always makes it a little easier. Anyways, let's get to it.

April Ipsy Glam Bag

As I mentioned before I have another Ipsy Glam Bag to share with all of you! It is now officially a month late although technically from the time I received it only a few weeks have passed. Either way April's bag proved to be quite interesting from email warnings from Ipsy to trying to comprehend how dumb some people are. Let's get to the bag shall we?

Tinder - You Own Mortality

As I'm sure we all know by now I've come across a many different kinds of dating app profiles. The funny ones, the serious ones, the creepy ones, and the ones that have potentially scarred me for the rest of my life (I'm looking at you Johnny). Either way it's rare that I have to pull out the dictionary for one to make sure I'm fully understanding what in the world they are trying to say to me, let alone one that makes me question my mortality. Let's get on to the confusion of mortality from Ryder's point of view.

March Ipsy Glam Bag

This is so very late, which I must apologize for, but alas life got busy and I just can't help it. I could lie and say it took me a while to use the products but I'd rather not lie. Sometimes for me the dating posts are easier to keep up with compared to the beauty ones. So expect two glam bag posts this month because I still have the April one to post about. Let's get on to the wonderful March bag! (:

Bumble - Girls With Daddy

I get it, filling out profiles on a dating app can be hard. Sometimes you aren't sure what to share in order to convey who you are and what you are all about. Last week we had the pathological liar who was easy to figure out but this week is a little more confusing. There's a fine line between being funny and being serious that is hard to tread when it comes to having someone read it. Talking in person would be a bit easier considering there is tone and expression to work with. Today I have Ryan who slowly falls off the line and into a pit.

Coffee Meets Bagel - Pathological Liar

It's easy to make things up when talking about yourself to a stranger. I mean, what do they really know about you? Nothing. You're the one who has to fill them in about yourself. You get to decide what information you share about yourself and what you don't. It isn't likely that you are going to start off telling one of your most embarrassing stories or with terrible things that you've done in your life. Instead you're going to start off nice and easy with topics like what you do for work, where you went to school, and what you like to do. However, what do you do when the profile on a dating app starts becoming less and less believable?

Influenster - Maybelline #GreatLashBlue

It's been a while since I received my last Influenster box but I just received a new one today! This time it was Maybelline's #GreatLashBlue campaign that was sent to me. I actually ended up with it thanks to taking one of their surveys on the site. It's one of those easy ones where I answer questions about what products I enjoy using. There's always different opportunities depending on what you review and show interest in. So, let's get to it!

OkCupid - Beyoncé Review

I've started noticing a new trend as of late on the dating apps. No, it isn't the previously discussed people in costume concept (Barney, Kermit, Minnie) which took my dating apps by storm. Instead it is people using quotes to describe themselves. Don't get me wrong, I understand having a quote from a well known person if you're trying to be deep or philosophical. However, making up your own quote to try and describe yourself isn't something that is attractive. Today we have a guy who thought Beyoncé could save him.
